Official information locates the viewing area near the upper gondola station, making scenery a substantial part of the outing. A few visitors appreciate switching from skiing to tree viewing, and recent logs record deep-snow days. Its strength is that blend of mountain atmosphere and skiing rather than an enormous piste count. Some connecting sections can require extra movement, while wind and visibility can determine how much of the scenery is actually enjoyed.
